Michael Mann has been a cab driver, a shrimp fisherman, a swim coach, a stone carver, a college instructor, a concierge—and through it all—a writer. He has a B.A. in Creative Writing, an M.A. in Literature, and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies, which he taught for several years. He currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where he can be found rolling along the Music City Bikeway on his Gary Fisher Wingra, or sipping coffee and filling pages at East Nashville’s Portland Brew.
