Wandering in the Words Press is pleased to announce the release of Mama’s New Do, a children’s book written by Gretchen M. Everin and illustrated by Tara Britt Story. The book is now available for purchase on Amazon.
Grandma’s snazzy new hairdo inspires one young girl to give Mama Earth a makeover, but she soon discovers she can’t do it alone, and that even the best makeovers require maintenance. Readers will learn how a little effort and teamwork can go a long way to keep Earth healthy, clean, and beautiful.
About the Author
A schoolteacher, turned stay-at-home mom, Gretchen M. Everin discovered her love of writing when her oldest child was just a napping baby. Many naps and dozens of stories later, she still writes every chance she gets (except when she’s baking bread or playing badminton). Gretchen received her Associate of Arts degree from Mount St. Clare College and her B. S. in Elementary Education from Mount Mercy University. She lives in New England with her family.
About the Illustrator
Tara Britt Story graduated from Maine College of Art with a BFA in Painting. She lives in Middletown, Rhode Island, with her three favorite boys (two little; one big), a speckled-bellied dog (who’s always by her side), and three noisy Budgies that make her smile every morning.
