Herc Ramone — A novel written by a 15 year old!

Wandering in the Words Press has partnered with a remarkable young man, Josh Boone, who has written a novel while still a teenager. Lordy, do you remember your teenage years? With all the teen angst, who had time to write a novel…and a good one at that?

Josh began working on his young adult fantasy novel Herc Ramone: The Nightmare of Prophecies when he was in the eighth grade. He is now finishing his freshmen year and is writing the second book in the series.

 The main character, Herc Ramone, shares the same bone defect that Josh has. Writing has served as both a creative outlet and way for Josh to share his experiences regarding the disorder. Of course, the book is so much more than that. The novel takes place in New York City, a place that Josh has yet to visit. He’s relied on diligent research to write about Manhattan! And he’s done an incredible job.

 Wandering in the Words Press is working with Josh on the editing process. We’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to aid in the publishing and printing.
